Situations That Change Using Character

Hello!!

Ok, I need to tell you something.

You know that I am human, and not always use the Character Strengths ;), so here I would share with you a situation when I tatally forgot Self-Control. XD

So here we go....

"It happen not tolong ago. I was making my homework and then I remeber that I needed to

something. Well, my mom told me that she could go print me that if I send her the link of the project by Whatsapp, the big problem was that I didn´t had my 

charged with battery. I was death, because my cellphone needs 1 hour for it to be 

I was so angrey, that I shouted to my mom a few bad words. She got so angry and I did so. It was horrible. But after some time, both felt guilty and appologize."

Well that is my storry...

But I am thinking what would have happened if I used self-control...

Well I think I wouldn´t have shouted, and my mom would have seen that I could be responsable.

Also I must say that Character Strengths have changed my life because they showed me how to be a better person and also how to be happy.

Character in Our Lifes

Hello!!

 This week, I will talk about who the Character Strengths, can help you to have a better and happier life. If you don´t know why I am so insistent in Charcater Strengths, but is because I have achieved many things thanks to them.

Well I´ll show tou an example were they have helped me:

"When I was like 9 years old, I faced a big challenge.....

CHANGING OF SCHOOL!!

I have always been at the same school until that moment. When I arrived, I was so scared, no knowing anyone, alone, no my old friends...

Well, we can say that it was a very different situation, what helped me to make friends was, talking about my likes and dislikes, also about my favorite subjects, and arriving with a HAPPY and POSITIVE actitud!!!

The new girl had made friends in her firsts days. I must say that some times it wasn´t easy, but if you are a positive person, you achieve things."

Students With Character

Hello!!

This week we have the celebration of the students, a great day for all of us that are not kids but we go to school. In this occasion I will talk about students with strengths. But first...

Ok, first I will tell you why I am a good student, I am not the student that only has 9 and 10, but, I my grades are of 8, 9, and 10. As you can see I am not that good or bad!! XD

I think that the character strengths that help me to achieve this are: 

1. OPTIMISM

If you have optimism, you can achieve anything. You would always be looking for other ways to achieve no matter what happens.

2. PERSEVERANCE

If you keep trying, you will always be a winner.

3. CURIOSITY

When you are curious you will always find a solution.

I can show a situation when I used this character styrengths:

One day I had a computer HW, it was 9:30pm and I had not finished it yet and I had only 30 minutes left, but, with perseverance and optimism I finished it. I used perseverance for don´t getting sleep and keep working hard, and optimism because although it was to late a have the positive thinking that told me that I could finish on time.

And?....Why only me? 

If it is "students day" why only about me?

Well I am not only going to talk about me, I will also talk about another girl.

Her name is Hanna, and she is a great student. She is helpful and kind, she will always give you a hand in any situation.

Here she shared me one situation when she needed to use here character strengths...

"When I was going to have a French, I needed to study very hard, thanks to being perseverant, I had a 100."

Finally I am giving you some tips to apply the character strengths to be a good student...

1. When you have a homework in which you need to research, use your curiosity and look at different web pages.
2. If you feel that you are not getting results, use the social intelligence and ask for help.
3. When you are in class, use self-control to be a good student and don´t have bad behavior problems.
4. Have gratitude and thank for everything that you teachers give you and some partners lend you.
5. Have optimism and be happy at you classes.

Teacher´s Day

Hello!!

Today, I will present you one of my favorite teachers his name is Ivan, and he has studied Chemistry, Physics, and Biology. His likes are sea food, the green color, dogs, and the book of psychoanalyst. His favorite science is biology, and he like it because it explains life. He has been a teacher for ten years, that's a long time. He likes watching movies and also the quote that says, "All you need is love." I think thought that his character strengths were Curiosity and Self-control, but when I asked, he told me that they were curiosity and gratitude. Tell me, who is your favorite teacher and what character strengths does he has?

1. ZOOTOPIA

This movie is about a bunny that wants to be a great police officer, and she works hard to achieve her dream but then some problems can destroy here dream, so she makes an extra effort so she can keep working as that police officer that she always dreamed to be.

2. Coach Carter

This movie is about a coacgh that wants his team to be the best, not only in the basketball, but also in the life so they can go to a good university and have a good life.

3. Brave

This movie is about a girl that wants to fight for her own hand and wants to become independent although that her mom opposes. She demostrates perseverance.
